As Chair of the World Heritage Day Team, I would like to take this oppertunity to say a HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who came out to support World Heritage Day 2025 in this, our 25th anniversary year. This volunteer run event is a highlight in the year for our community, and we hope you enjoyed the day, we did! It is always so wonderful to see the community come out to spend time with their friends, family and be a part of our World Heritage Community.

I would also like to thank all our wonderful volunteers who spent 8 months pulling the event together and worked so hard on the day to make the event run smoothly without whom, the event simply would not happen. And of course a huge thank you to our funders and supporters, @Blaenvontowncouncil, Blaenavon World Heritage Centre Blaenavon Workmen's Hall TGSB Markets & Events, @Torfaencouncil World Heritage Youth Ambassadors Torfaen Talks CIC

Each year we listen to community feedback, and always try to address any issues raised and next year will be no different, as we look at better ways to manage waste, noise and stall placements. If you would like to give us contructive feedback about this year please follow the link below. We value all feedback.

As this is a volunteer run event, if you would like to make any feedback a reality, please do consider joining our small team. We meet once a month, online, and it is only 2-3 hours per month of voluntary time - we are a friendly bunch, I promise!

All that is left to say is that we hope you had a wonderful day with your family, friends and community and look out for our next event at the beginning of December, and we will see you all again next year on Saturday 27th June 2026.
